Professional Background
 
Tomáš Thun graduated from the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University in Brno in 2026, where he successfully passed the final state examination and defended the thesis "Legal Regime of Non-contractual Obligations from Unfair Competition and Acts Restricting Free Competition " in which he focused primarily on the legal regime of unfair competition in private international law. During his studies he gained practical experience at several law firms, where he focused primarily on general legal practice. His academic education also included a semester-long study program abroad at the University of Bergen in Norway.
 
Since February 2026, Tomáš has been a member of the Czech Bar Association and he has been working for DRV Legal as a junior lawyer, where he focuses on general practice and insolvency law.
